This is a university-wide Japanese Language Education Center for international students.

Pre-arrival Japanese Language Program for UTokyo Students
The Japanese Language Education Division of the Center for Global Education at the University of Tokyo offers a fee-based Japanese language program for students who have been admitted to study at UTokyo.
UTokyo also offer Japanese language courses to students participating in UTokyo international short-term programs that are mainly aimed at students enrolled in overseas universities.
