AY 2025 Diploma Presentation Ceremony held
The University of Tokyo AY 2025 Diploma Presentation Ceremony was held at Yasuda Auditorium on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
The ceremony was held three times. Accompanied by the University of Tokyo Orchestra’s performance of “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik G major, K.525” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the president, the executive vice presidents, deans of the Graduate Schools, the directors of University Institutes and special guest Mr. KUNIBE Takeshi, president of the UTokyo Alumni Association, ascended to the stage in their academic gowns, and the ceremonies began.
President Fujii awarded diplomas to the graduates representing each Graduate School and gave a baccalaureate address to the graduates. Mr. Kunibe then gave a congratulatory address to the graduates, and the representative graduates (1st session: Mr. TANAKA Shota from the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, 2nd session: Mr. HORIKAWA Yuya from the Graduate School of Education, 3rd session: Mr. MIKI Akihiro from the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology) made speeches in reply on behalf of the entire graduating class, after which the ceremony was concluded.
Livestreams of the ceremony were provided, and watched by many graduates and their families who were unable to attend the ceremony, as well as the general public.
