June 3, 2026

The UTokyo-IIS web magazine, Possible Future Case#UTokyo-IIS, is now available, updated with the following articles since March 2026.

This month, we introduce two distinct areas of research: materials and structural technologies that could help shape the future of rocketry, and studies of water behavior in biological systems with potential applications in agriculture. We invite you to explore the breadth of research featured in these articles.

Developing Lightweight, Resilient CFRP Tanks to Shape the Future of Rocketry (Jun 6, 2026)

Microscopic Water Science in Biological systems: Improving Sake and Tea Production (May 7, 2026)

The website aims to serve as a “platform for dialogue” between society and UTokyo-IIS by allowing visitors to post their expectations, concerns, and free comments on the articles. You're invited to think about the future of the latest engineering research and share your thoughts with the researchers.
